Neonatologist
Description
We are seeking a dedicated neonatologist to provide expert medical care to newborn infants, especially those requiring intensive care due to prematurity or complex medical conditions. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and managing treatment plans for critically ill neonates.
- Performing necessary medical procedures and interventions with precision and care.
- Collaborating effectively with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Communicating clearly and empathetically with families, providing education and support throughout the treatment process.
- Participating in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance neonatal care.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of pediatrics residency and neonatology fellowship training.
- Board certification in neonatology.
- Valid medical license to practice in the respective state.
- Minimum 3 years of NICU experience preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to perform neonatal procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
