.NET Back End Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, Web APIs, and microservices.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and business analysts.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, or Identity.
• Ensure application security, logging, monitoring, and error handling.
• Work with Git for source code management and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.

Required Skills

• Experience in C# and ASP.NET Core (.NET 6/7/8).
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET MVC and Web API.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core, Dapper, or ADO.NET.
• Strong SQL knowledge with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with LINQ, asynchronous programming, and dependency injection.
• Good understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with JWT Authentication, OAuth, and Identity.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments is an advantage.
• Experience with Redis, caching, and background services (Hangfire/Worker Services) is preferred.
• Understanding of SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and Clean Architecture.
• Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Frontend Skills (Preferred)

• HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
• JavaScript, jQuery
• React.js or Angular (preferred)
• AJAX and JSON

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience with Azure or AWS is an added advantage.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of financial, banking, or fintech applications is a plus.
