.NET Backend Engineer Azure Cloud

Lead and build scalable .NET backend services on Azure, migrating monoliths to microservices while mentoring engineers and owning cloud-native architecture.
We are looking for a Senior/MID .NET Backend Engineer / Tech Lead to join a high-performing engineering team building large-scale backend platforms that support mission-critical digital products. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will combine software engineering excellence with architectural ownership, technical mentoring, and close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
You will play a key role in defining backend architecture, leading technical decisions, and delivering scalable cloud-native solutions while remaining actively involved in software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using C# and .NET Core.
- Architect and build high-performance REST APIs and event-driven microservices.
- Drive the evolution from monolithic applications to modern microservices architectures.
- Define technical roadmaps and make architecture decisions that support long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Lead code reviews and establish engineering best practices and coding standards.
- Mentor software engineers and support their technical growth.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design API contracts and data models for distributed systems.
- Build resilient, cloud-native applications running on Microsoft Azure.
- Optimize database performance and data modelling using NoSQL technologies.
- Participate in sprint planning, technical planning, backlog refinement, and delivery activities.
- Promote software quality through testing, automation, and continuous improvement.
