.NET / Database Specialist

We are seeking a strong Mid .NET/SQL Engineer to support a US-based client in onboarding new stores and maintaining data integrity. In this role, your primary focus will be hands-on database operations—executing production scripts, running data migrations, verifying data correctness, and ensuring zero operational disruption. While the surrounding ecosystem leverages modern .NET and AWS cloud tools, this position is almost exclusively centered around database work and SQL script execution, making it essential that candidates are genuinely interested in and dedicated to database-centric tasks.

• Seniority: Mid (3+ years of relevant experience)

• Engagement Model: B2B Contract, Full-time (1 FTE)

• Duration: 12+ months (long-term role with high continuation potential)

• Working Hours: Monday–Thursday, 06:00–16:00 PL time

• Language: Fluent English (written and verbal)

• Client Location: US-based

Responsibilities

• Execute, validate, and verify database scripts for new store setups, ensuring 100% data correctness and integrity.

• Manage routine schema updates, data migrations, and data fixes across production environments while minimizing risk and operational disruption.

• Handle sensitive client data with the highest level of trust, precision, and security compliance.

• Support existing web and backend integrations connected to database workflows, identifying root causes of data inconsistencies.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in database operations, SQL development, data validation, and database-tier application support.

• Core Tech Stack & Tools:

  • Advanced SQL expertise, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, database scripting, data validation, and migration workflows

  • .NET (Web), Web API (C# development experience is a nice-to-have)

  • Apache Kafka, Docker, GitHub Actions, AWS Lambda, AWS CDK, Terraform

• Recognized Certifications (Nice to have):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) / Querying Data with Microsoft Transact-SQL

  • AWS Certified Database – Specialty / AWS Certified Developer Associate
