Cogito Group is a growing cyber security company that specialises in Authentication Services, notably Public Key Infrastructure and Identity Management. We work in a fast-paced environment, using and developing cutting edge technologies to deliver next-generation solutions to government and commercial organisations. Cogito Group is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to support a portfolio management and decision support system. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team that maintains the system, resolves issues and delivers improvements for its users.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, test and document software and scripts against agreed requirements.
Investigate defects and batch failures, working with other teams to resolve them.
Maintain batch processes across development, integration and production environments.
Review code, support testing and releases, and maintain technical documentation.
Mentor junior developers and improve development, testing and release practices.
Build software that meets business, security and legislative requirements.
What you’ll bring
5 plus years’ experience developing and supporting applications with Microsoft .NET technologies.
Proficiency in React, including building and maintaining user interfaces.
Experience diagnosing production issues and working through the full software delivery lifecycle.
Sound judgement in code review, testing, documentation and release management.
The ability to work with technical and business colleagues in a structured environment.
Australian citizenship and a current NV1 security clearance or higher.
Mandatory Requirements
This role is based entirely on site. Australian citizenship with a current NV1 security clearance, or higher, is mandatory for this position.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will be a strong team player and an open and effective communicator with the ability to work autonomously and contribute to overall team outcomes.
