About the role
From business applications and system integrations to the technology supporting our day-to-day operations, GSC’s IT Development team helps keep everything connected and running smoothly.
We are looking for a .NET Developer who enjoys transforming business requirements into practical and reliable technology solutions. Beyond writing clean code, you will analyze user needs, enhance applications, troubleshoot issues and support systems throughout the software development lifecycle.

💼 What You’ll Be Doing
Gather, analyse and translate user requirements into practical system solutions.
Design, develop, enhance and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET.
Develop and support web applications, databases, APIs and system integrations.
Prepare functional specifications, technical documentation, system workflows and user guides.
Perform coding, unit testing, system testing, troubleshooting and application deployment.
Collaborate with users, project teams and fellow developers to deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
Provide ongoing application support, performance tuning and issue resolution.
Support users during system implementations, enhancements and User Acceptance Testing.
Maintain proper documentation, approvals, source code and version control.
Explore emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing applications and development processes.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in .NET application development, system implementation or application support.
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET and SQL.
Working knowledge of MSSQL or MySQL, including query writing and database troubleshooting.
Experience with JavaScript and ReactJS will be an added advantage.
Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
Experience supporting web application environments such as IIS or Apache Tomcat.
Hands-on experience in integrating and supporting e-payment gateways and online payment systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications in Microsoft development or cloud technology will be an added advantage.
