Overview

We are seeking an expert .NET Developer to support the modernization and transformation of critical asset management applications within a large financial institution. This is a high-visibility opportunity focused on enhancing existing platforms, integrating new vendor solutions, and supporting ongoing application development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and preferably SSIS, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across onshore and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support enterprise web applications using .NET Core, C#, Angular, and SQL Server.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Participate in the modernization of legacy applications and integration of new vendor platforms.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries.
  • Develop and support SSIS packages for data integration and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring application performance and stability.
  • Participate in Agile development ceremonies, code reviews, and testing activities.
  • Work closely with offshore development teams to deliver quality solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET / .NET Core development.
  • Strong proficiency in C#.
  • Strong experience with Angular development.
  • Extensive SQL Server experience, including query optimization, stored procedures, and database development.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience with Entity Framework.
  • Experience with MVC architecture.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
  • Experience with SOAP services.
  • Experience integrating third-party or vendor platforms.
  • Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
  • Financial services, banking, wealth management, trust, or asset management industry experience.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Experience collaborating with offshore teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
