.NET Full Stack Developer
Summary
Senior .NET full-stack developer at IT consultancy WIRE IT, hybrid in Lisbon/Tomar (1 office day per week). Day to day: building REST APIs and backend services on .NET, including migrating legacy .NET Framework 4.6.2 apps to modern .NET, front-end work with HTML/JS/CSS/jQuery, and Oracle PL/SQL / SQL Server database work; banking-sector project experience is a plus.

Role: Senior .NET Full Stack Developer
Location: Hybrid (1 day per week in the office), Lisbon and/or Tomar, Portugal
Required skills:
- 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and backend solutions using .NET.
- Experience working with legacy .NET Framework 4.6.2 and migrating applications to modern .NET versions, such as .NET 8 or .NET 10.
- Experience building front-end components using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery.
- Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server, including database procedures and query optimisation.
- Knowledge of API architecture, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, and security.
- Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable APIs and background services.
- Proficiency in English.
- Portuguese nationality.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Vue.js, Angular, or React.
- Experience developing WCF and SOAP-based services.
- Knowledge of deployment processes, release management, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud-native and containerised environments, such as OpenShift.
- Experience with Razor, Knockout, Bootstrap, and MVC frameworks.
- Previous experience in the banking sector.
