.NET Fullstack Software Engineer

Summary

Build and maintain a full-stack .NET platform for an IoT product, working across backend APIs, frontend, and mobile apps while ensuring reliability and modernizing legacy systems.

You might be our missing piece if you have:
  • 3-6 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining web applications and APIs with C# and .NET

  • Experience with — MVC, Web Forms and/or Web API and openness in working in a mature codebase

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure in a production context — Virtual Machines / IIS hosting, App Services, Azure Functions and Service Bus

  • Ability to contribute across the stack, including the existing web frontend (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), and to follow the patterns already established in the codebase

  • Confidence debugging and fixing issues in code, inside a live production system used by customers on active construction sites

  • A methodical approach to defining and resolving routine and moderately complex issues, and the judgement to know when something should be escalated

  • Experience planning and monitoring your own work within agreed deadlines and milestones, in an Agile / Scrum setup

  • You are based in Cluj-Napoca and open to office days

  • You have a sense of belonging when reading about our culture

We would be thrilled if you have:
  • IoT experience: exposure to device-to-cloud data flows, telemetry ingestion and device messaging, for example with Azure IoT Hub, Service Bus or an equivalent platform. This is an IoT product, so previous experience helps but we are commited to evolve together

  • Experience in working with frontend technologies (Angular, React or similar)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps / Azure Pipelines, and an interest in reducing the manual steps that still exist in our cloud deployments

  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting and incident handling for a production service

  • Curiosity about AI-assisted development tooling and how it can speed up maintenance work

We will be working together on:
  • Keeping the platform stable and running reliably across sensors, backend, web frontend and mobile apps — this is the squad’s primary goal

  • Implementing smaller technical improvements and change requests on the C#/.NET backend and API

  • Investigating and resolving production incidents along the full device → cloud → web chain, and documenting what caused them so they do not come back

  • Maintaining and improving the web frontend, and supporting the React Native mobile applications

  • Gradually modernize legacy .NET applications towards .NET Core or newer versions

  • Working with the Azure IoT Hub and Service Bus message flows that carry sensor readings into the platform

  • Sharing what you learn with the team, and taking the initiative on your own development — we will help you find the right opportunities
