.NET React Developer (EU public)
Summary
Develops and supports enterprise web applications for Frontex (EU Border and Coast Guard Agency): .NET (Core/8) / C# backend with Entity Framework and SQL Server, React/TypeScript frontend, built and deployed via Azure DevOps on Windows/IIS and virtualised/container platforms. Includes production support, security remediation, and taking over a contractor-delivered codebase.

Our expectations
- Minimum level of education - level 6 (bachelor's degree)- ICT relevant degree is NOT mandatory
- Minimum IT relevant professional experience (years) - 6
- Minimum project experience relevant to the profile or at similar position (years) - 3
- At least 1 certification among: Advanced level certificate in software development technology domain or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
- Proven development and support of enterprise web applications on .NET (Core / 8) with C#, Entity Framework and SQL Server, and of React/TypeScript single-page applications, including build and deployment through Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Hands-on experience with deployment and operation of applications on Windows/IIS and container or virtualised platforms (Nutanix / OpenShift), background-job frameworks (e.g. Hangfire), ASP.NET Core Data Protection and certificate management, and with security-scan (Checkmarx) and penetration-test remediation
- Experience integrating applications with SAML 2.0 / Entra ID, PDF and image-processing libraries and document-management interfaces, and with taking over a code base delivered by an external contractor (code review, technical-debt management, third-line support)
- Experience supporting production systems in a large organization context (release management through a Change Advisory Board, UAT support, incident analysis) and readiness to work alongside a 3rd party development contractor during its third-level-support period
- English at min. B2 level
- Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the solution
- Expert in developing enterprise level software systems in specified technology domain
- Knows UML and can design applications in UML
- Proficient in designing and developing: data layer, business logic layer and UI layer
- Worked in Scrum developments
- Is capable for leading technical teams
- Holds ability to document effectively technical solutions
- Presents problem solving skills
