Local ( distrito, região): Lisboa Função: .Net Solution Architect Nível: SR Data de início: ImediatoDuração da contratação: 1 anoInglês B2What We Are Looking ForExperience & Background- 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 in a Solution Architect or Lead Architect role within a consulting or delivery context.- Demonstrated experience working directly with business stakeholders, facilitating architectural alignment, presenting solution options and owning technical decisions under scrutiny.- Hands-on involvement in effort estimation and roadmap definition for complex, multi-workstream programmes, not just architecture design in isolation.- Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is a strong advantage, particularly across policy or claims domains.Technical Skills — .NET & Cloud- Strong .NET engineering foundation: C#, .NET 6/8, Minimal APIs, Web API, Clean Architecture, SOLID, you can read, challenge and guide implementation decisions, not just produce diagrams.- Solid Azure cloud architecture experience: Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management (APIM), Azure DevOps and broader Azure-native services.- Proven experience designing event-driven and API-driven integration layers: messaging patterns, channel adapters, API gateways and service decoupling.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and modern development workflows including GitHub Copilot.- Working knowledge of security architecture: identity management, authorisation models, API security and enterprise security standards.- Experience with low-code platforms, particularly OutSystems, is a plus.Architecture & Delivery- Ability to produce clear, decision-driven High-Level Designs that serve as the authoritative blueprint for delivery teams including explicit documentation of trade-offs and constraints.- Proven experience defining effort estimations and phased implementation roadmaps in collaboration with project and programme management.- Comfortable facilitating architectural alignment across multiple independent technical domains without direct authority, through influence, clarity and trust.- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.- Experienced working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments, collaborating closely with BA, QA and delivery teams from inception.Generative AI - Must Have- Active professional user of GenAI tooling: GitHub Copilot.- Able to define and promote responsible, practical GenAI adoption patterns within a delivery team.- Awareness of GenAI use cases in the insurance domain - document processing, decision automation, operational intelligence - is a strong differentiator.What Sets the Ideal Candidate Apart- You have led the full architecture lifecycle on at least one significant platform modernisation or internalisation initiative - from business case through to delivery.- You have designed near real-time event-driven architectures in operational or mission-critical contexts.- You are as comfortable presenting a solution roadmap to senior leadership as you are reviewing a pull request with a backend developer.- You treat estimation and planning as architectural responsibilities, not tasks to delegate, and you have a track record of roadmaps that survived contact with reality.- You have coordinated architecture across multiple independent teams and vendor ecosystems simultaneously.
