This is a hands-on Software Architect opportunity focused on designing and evolving modern enterprise applications within a collaborative engineering environment.
You will work closely with development squads to shape scalable, resilient architectures based on .NET Core, React, and React Native.
The role combines architectural leadership with practical technical involvement throughout the software development lifecycle.
You will guide engineering teams on distributed systems, microservices, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, testing, and CI/CD practices.
The position offers the opportunity to influence important technical decisions while remaining close to implementation and real-world engineering challenges.
You’ll collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment and help mentor developers through complex architectural decisions.

Accountabilities:
- Design, evolve, and maintain software architectures for distributed systems and microservices, ensuring scalability, resilience, maintainability, and alignment with business requirements.
- Conduct architecture reviews, evaluate technical approaches, and provide clear guidance to development teams on architectural decisions.
- Maintain a hands-on approach, actively participating in development activities and contributing technical expertise throughout the software lifecycle.
- Define and promote software engineering best practices covering development, testing, deployment, maintainability, and overall solution quality.
- Partner with product and engineering teams within an Agile/Scrum environment to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance on architecture, design patterns, implementation challenges, and complex engineering decisions.
- Lead technical decisions related to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices, supporting reliable and scalable delivery.
- Contribute to the evolution of solutions built with .NET Core, React, and React Native.
- Support architectural decisions involving CosmosDB and SQL Server, ensuring appropriate data management and persistence strategies.
- Establish and encourage automated testing practices and quality controls across development workflows.
- Evaluate opportunities to improve architecture, engineering processes, automation, and technical standards.
- Where relevant, contribute to solutions involving event-driven architectures, containerization, API gateways, and security patterns.
- Strong professional experience in software architecture, preferably in complex enterprise environments and hands-on engineering contexts.
- Strong proficiency with .NET technologies, particularly .NET Core, with the ability to participate directly in technical implementation.
- Solid experience designing and evolving distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Strong hands-on experience with React and React Native.
- Experience working with CosmosDB and SQL Server and understanding of appropriate database architecture and design considerations.
- Knowledge of automated testing strategies and software quality best practices.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, including the ability to guide technical decisions around modern software delivery.
- Familiarity with cloud services, preferably Microsoft Azure, and experience making architectural decisions for cloud-based solutions.
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills, with the ability to influence engineering teams and explain complex architectural concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and other multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and adapting architectural decisions to evolving product requirements.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures, including technologies such as Service Bus or Event Grid, is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes and containerized application environments is a plus.
- Experience with API Gateway technologies and security patterns is desirable.
