NetSuite Business Process & Automation Manager

About the role

The NetSuite Business Process & Automation Manager is responsible for maximizing RCI's use of Oracle NetSuite to drive business process improvement, automation, standardization and operational scalability. The role will work closely with Finance, Operations, IT and other business functions to understand end-to-end processes, identify opportunities to simplify and automate work, and translate business requirements into practical NetSuite solutions. The position will manage the full lifecycle of NetSuite initiatives—from business-process understanding and requirements gathering through solution design, prototyping, configuration/customization, testing, deployment, training, documentation, adoption and post-go-live hypercare.

Key responsibilities

• Work with business process owners to understand end-to-end business processes, pain points, manual activities, control requirements and opportunities for improvement

• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, centralize and automate processes using NetSuite

• Lead the design, configuration, enhancement and optimization of NetSuite solutions based on business requirements

• Maintain deep working knowledge of relevant NetSuite modules and capabilities and recommend the appropriate use of standard functionality before customization

• Perform or oversee hands-on NetSuite configuration, including workflows, saved searches, reports, dashboards, custom forms, custom records and custom fields

• Manage NetSuite initiatives through the complete lifecycle: business understanding, requirements, process design, prototype, configuration/development, testing, deployment, training, hypercare and stabilization

• Understand RCI's Finance processes sufficiently to ensure that NetSuite solutions support appropriate accounting, financial reporting, controls and transaction processing

• Lead hands-on activities involving data extraction, cleansing, standardization, validation, migration and reconciliation

• Ensure appropriate segregation of duties, approvals, audit trail and business controls are incorporated into NetSuite solutions

• Conduct training and knowledge transfer for new and enhanced functionality

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, preferably with a strong systems/process orientation

• At least 5 years of relevant ERP/NetSuite experience, with substantial hands-on experience in Oracle NetSuite

• Proven experience successfully delivering business-process automation, process-improvement or digital-transformation initiatives using NetSuite

• Demonstrated full-cycle NetSuite project experience from requirements gathering through design, configuration/development, testing, training, deployment and hypercare

• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite modules relevant to a service-oriented business, with exposure to manufacturing or merchandising environments also valuable

• Experience with NetSuite configuration, workflows, reporting, saved searches, dashboards, custom forms/fields/records and scripting/customization

• Practical experience with data cleansing, standardization, migration and data-quality management

• Experience working with NetSuite implementation partners or system integrators

• CPA or CMA preferred

• Relevant NetSuite certifications are an advantage
