NetSuite Developer

Salary: £42,000 - 82,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience developing within NetSuite
• Strong experience with SuiteScript 2.x
• Solid JavaScript and API integration skills
• Experience creating Suitelets, RESTlets, User Event Scripts, and Map/Reduce processes
• Experience with saved searches, workflows, and custom records
• Understanding of NetSuite security roles, permissions, and deployment processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud or similar integration platforms is desirable
• Experience with NetSuite Analytics Warehouse and/or SuiteAnalytics is desirable
• Knowledge of SQL and reporting platforms is desirable
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or e-commerce is desirable
• NetSuite certifications are advantageous
• United Kingdom work authorisation is required

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain NetSuite SuiteScript 2.x solutions, including User Events, Client Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, RESTlets, and Suitelets
• Build and maintain custom records, custom fields, workflows, and saved searches
• Develop integrations between NetSuite and third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite issues, system defects, and performance bottlenecks
• Participate in solution design discussions and provide technical recommendations
• Support deployments across sandbox and production environments
• Produce technical documentation for developments, enhancements, and integrations
• Work with operational teams to understand business requirements and processes
• Translate business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions
• Provide effort estimates and implementation recommendations for development projects
• Support user acceptance testing and post-deployment reviews
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement
• Ensure solutions are secure, supportable, and aligned with NetSuite best practice
