Overview:

We are looking for a forward-thinking NetSuite Implementation Specialist who bridges the gap between technical system architecture and functional accounting—while actively leveraging the tools of tomorrow. In this hybrid role, you will lead the end-to-end deployment of NetSuite applications, ensuring that system configurations not only meet operational needs but also adhere to strict GAAP compliance and internal controls.

As the primary architect for our clients' transitions, you will transform complex business processes into streamlined, automated workflows. We aren't just looking for a traditional consultant; we want someone who embraces modern efficiency by actively integrating AI tools, LLMs, and intelligent agents into their day-to-day workflow to accelerate delivery, troubleshoot code, and optimize documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Functional Implementation & Client Advisory

• Solution Design: Lead business requirement gathering sessions and review current accounting processes to design optimized NetSuite solutions.
• Financial Integrity: Apply deep knowledge of accounting principles to ensure system setups support accurate financial reporting and GAAP compliance.
• Data Validation: Create initial accounting transactions and perform first-month reconciliations to ensure data integrity during the transition phase.
• Change Management: Develop and facilitate customized training programs for client teams to ensure rapid system adoption.

Technical Configuration & Optimization

• System Customization: Perform hands-on system setup, configuration, and customization within the NetSuite environment.
• Business Intelligence: Build and modify workflows, saved searches, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable data.
• Data & Integration: Execute complex data migration, file conversions, and rigorous system validation/testing. Troubleshoot issues and support third-party integrations.
• AI Efficiency: Utilize AI chatbots, code assistants, and prompt engineering in your daily routine to rapidly draft documentation, troubleshoot SuiteScript, build complex regex, or analyze data schemas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite implementation and administration.
• Accounting Foundation: Strong understanding of accounting workflows (AP, AR, GL) and financial reporting requirements.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to build saved searches, workflows, and dashboards. Familiarity with SuiteScript or third-party integrations (e.g., Celigo, Dell Boomi) is a plus.
• Modern AI Workflows: Demonstrated experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or specialized AI agents) as a force multiplier in your daily workflows for documentation, coding assistance, or problem-solving. (Note: Prior NetSuite AI module experience is not required; we care about your personal AI literacy).
• Project Management: Ability to manage data conversion and migration projects directly with clients.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
