NetSuite Techno-Functional Consultant

Engagement Type: Part-Time / Contract

Working Hours: 4080 hours per month

Meeting Availability: Must be available for meetings during night hours to accommodate client time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective NetSuite techno-functional solutions.
• Configure and customize NetSuite modules based on business needs.
• Work on NetSuite implementation, enhancement, integration, and support projects.
• Develop and maintain customizations using SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and other NetSuite tools.
• Work with saved searches, reports, dashboards, workflows, custom records, and forms.
• Support functional areas such as Finance, Accounting, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Inventory Management.
• Develop and troubleshoot integrations between NetSuite and third-party applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, RESTlets, and SuiteTalk.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide recommendations, and deliver solutions.
• Assist with data migration, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Prepare technical documentation, functional specifications, and solution design documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle NetSuite in a techno-functional role.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP architecture, configurations, and business processes.
• Experience with NetSuite modules such as Financial Management, Order Management, Procurement, and Inventory.
• Proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, saved searches, and customizations.
• Experience with NetSuite integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, RESTlets, and SuiteTalk.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, XML, and web services.
• Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, system optimization, and production support.
• Ability to independently manage tasks and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Engagement Details:

Project-based, with responsibilities spanning both functional and technical aspects of NetSuite.

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, or SuiteCloud Developer.
• Experience with end-to-end NetSuite implementations and complex integrations.
• Experience working with international clients and distributed teams.
