Network Administrator
RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
The Network Administrator is responsible for supporting the stability, security, and performance of the company’s network infrastructure and related systems. This role assists with day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting connectivity issues, maintaining network equipment, and supporting business technology needs across the organization.
The position requires strong technical knowledge, effective problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The Network Administrator works collaboratively with IT team members, business departments, vendors, and leadership to help ensure reliable technology services that support company operations.
Additional duties may be assigned by management as business needs require.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Maintain, monitor, and support network systems, equipment, and related infrastructure to ensure reliable business operations.
- Troubleshoot network, connectivity, performance, and access issues; assess recurring problems and recommend steps to prevent future incidents.
- Support network security practices, system updates, documentation, and process improvements in alignment with departmental standards.
- Assist with vendor coordination, equipment evaluations, service requests, and implementation of technology solutions.
- Communicate technical concerns in clear business terms and work collaboratively with stakeholders, engineers, and other IT team members to resolve issues.
- Participate in team meetings, planning discussions, and daily operational activities to support departmental and company goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
