Job Overview: The Network Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, monitoring, and support of FXI's computer networks, servers, communications, and other hardware and software related to the infrastructure, working closely with an outsourced vendor that maintains these environments. This position requires supporting equipment on-premises, virtual, and in the Cloud. FXI has a mix of on prem and Microsoft Azure Network technologies. This position requires working with the team to ensure the day-to-day reliability, availability, and security of FXI's infrastructure. The Network Administrator's duties will contribute to ensuring that both on-prem and cloud-based systems operate effectively, efficiently, and securely. Serve as a key support resource and team member reporting to the Director of Infrastructure. This position requires a detail-oriented, service-focused individual with a minimum of three years of experience administering and supporting a production IT network for mid to large-size organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring computer systems and network performance for all systems, escalating issues as needed
• Working with outsourced vendors to maintain and support the day-to-day IT environment
• Troubleshooting, resolving with the vendor, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management
• Administering user accounts, access permissions, and network security groups
• Assisting with the support and day-to-day maintenance of SD-WAN environments
• Assisting with disaster recovery procedures and routine backup verification
• Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to help protect FXI's systems
• Assisting engineers and vendors with the implementation of new network solutions as required
• Maintaining accurate network documentation, diagrams, and asset records
• Project management and tracking with ability to multi-task between project and support requirements
• Process end user support tickets as related to network issues, end user computer errors, or any other system related questions

Skills / Qualifications:

Associate's degree in information technology or related field of study preferred; or equivalent work experience that amounts to two to four years of experience administering network systems and supporting a production IT network for mid to large size organizations

• Working knowledge of Enterprise Switches & Routers
• Knowledge of LAN, Virtual LAN, Wireless technologies
• Familiarity with SD-WAN environments
• CompTIA Network+ or CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or other Cloud vendor certification is a plus
• Demonstrated "hands-on" technical skills, strong organizational skills, and excellent customer service skills, with the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills with strong attention to detail and clear communication
• Able to work effectively with team members and vendors outside a direct reporting relationship
• Security certifications from (ISC)², CompTIA, or Microsoft, are a plus
• Experience working in a company with SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft ERP systems is a plus
• Other Microsoft Certified Professional certificates, or ITIL Foundation, are a plus
• Knowledge of ticketing or PM tools such as ServiceNow, SmartView, or MS Project is a plus
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift as required.
