Network Administrator II
Summary
Maintains and troubleshoots Microsoft-based IT infrastructure for a healthcare provider, including servers, cloud services, and user support for 350+ employees.
Statement of Purpose
The Network Administrator II is responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of all computerized equipment including; but not limited to MS Windows Servers, SCCM, SQL, Exchange, Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, switches, routers, Skype for Business, firewalls and any related software. The system is based on Microsoft technology, including on-premises Exchange 2013, Windows 2012, Windows 2008, and O365, and supports more than 350 mailboxes. The position’s primary responsibilities include Tier 2 support for O365 Hybrid environment, including support for SharePoint, Skype for Business and on-premises AD with Exchange This position will provide some support of a proprietary SQL database, Electronic Health Records, and various web applications

Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
Following is a general listing of the job duties inherent in this position as directed and supervised by the CIO. The employee may also perform other tasks and special projects as assigned:
- Experience using Office 365 and cloud computing
- Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
- Performing routine audits of systems and software.
- Maintain enterprise backup solution
- Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, moves, changes, etc.
- Responsible for 350+ user helpdesk and answering technical queries.
- Deployment, maintenance, analysis, repairs, replacement, support and upgrade of computer workstations, server, hardware, software, operating systems and distributed printers.
- Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system.
- Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Tracks and monitors problems to insure timely resolutions.
- Development and maintenance of related intranet documents. Performs backups and ensures user accessibility to internet/intranet sites.
- Planning, writing, and maintenance of projects and user support documentation efforts, including online help. Responsible for translating business applications into user documentation.
- Preparation and maintenance of specified documentation (guides, policies & procedure manuals, tutorials, handbooks, and any other user documentation).
- Attends staff meetings and in-service trainings as assigned.
- Maintains familiarity with BHS policies and procedures and other applicable regulations. Performs job duties accordingly.
