The role
We are looking for a hands‑on Network Administrator to provide technical support on TUHF's IT systems, hardware and software to our users. Spanning helpdesk & PC support, application support, and network administration & maintenance, you'll be a key part of a small IT team that keeps our people productive and our systems secure and reliable. The role reports to the IT Executive.
What you'll do
Helpdesk & PC support
- Provide first‑line helpdesk support — log, analyse, triage and resolve users' IT issues
- Prepare hardware and software for users, and support electronic office equipment
- Track and order computer/printer consumables; manage preventative and reactive maintenance
- Liaise with IT service providers to resolve issues; train and coach users
Application support
- Test newly developed systems and provide feedback; resolve system, workflow and data errors
- Provide system administration on the Loan Cycle Management Platform (LCMS) — producing reports and maintaining metadata
- Contribute to IT projects with input, recommendations and feedback
Network administration & maintenance
- Set up users — email accounts, network access, passwords and related IT requirements
- Maintain the hardware and software asset register (input to Finance)
- Support systems and software upgrades, patches and configuration changes
- Monitor network and server uptime; address issues and elevate complex ones
- Implement data-security and backup practices; administer user rights; document network configuration
General administration
- Reconcile data contracts and invoices; verify and approve invoices against approved quotes
What you'll bring
- MCSE, A+ and N+ (or similar qualifications)
- At least 3 years' experience providing technical support to users
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and high attention to detail
- A service‑first orientation and clear communication with users at all levels
- Solid technology‑usage capability across Microsoft environments, networks and IT hardware
Nice to have
- Exposure to financial‑services or other regulated environments
- Experience supporting a loan / line‑of‑business platform
