Summary
Maintains and troubleshoots network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, WAN/LAN) and supports server operations in a physical office setting.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including WAN circuits, LAN/WAN environments, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco or Juniper network devices.
- Monitor network performance and system health to ensure reliability and availability.
- Perform preventive maintenance and identify potential network issues before impact occurs.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving:
- Routing and Switching
- VLANs
- TCP/IP
- DNS
- DHCP
- VPN
- Firewall systems
- Support server infrastructure operations and related IT systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in network administration, server operations, or IT infrastructure support.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco or Juniper networking equipment.
- Experience with WAN circuit provisioning and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of:
- TCP/IP
- VLAN
- DNS
- DHCP
- VPN
- Routing & Switching
- Firewall technologies
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
