Network Analyst (Communication Technology)

Salary: $40 – $45 per hour + overtime + LAFHA as required

About the role

Administering network devices, ensuring correct setup and integration with client environments. Managing IP address allocation and network configuration for optimal performance and security.

Key responsibilities

  • Test and maintain telecommunication networks hardware, software and database applications

  • Configure electronic devices for integration and functionality

  • Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and outages, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with customer standards

  • Perform feeder line tests, including sweep tests and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) tests

  • Ensure backhaul transmission integrity (Radio/Fibre), minimise signal loss, and verify performance to telecommunications standards

  • Install and configure new and updated network devices including voice, data, and wireless system network infrastructure

  • Maintain and adhere to detailed procedures and documentation for telecommunications network assets, including artefact and inventory capture, upgrades, fault diagnosis, and maintenance records
