- Administer, configure, and optimize Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies using platforms such as F5 ASM, FortiWAF, and Imperva.
- Create, tune, and maintain security rules, signatures, access controls, and bot protection policies.
- Manage and maintain load balancer configurations, including virtual servers, pools, health checks, and traffic management.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates, including renewal, installation, configuration, and certificate chain validation.
- Troubleshoot application and network security issues involving HTTP/HTTPS, APIs, session flows, cookies, and application traffic.
- Support the secure migration and integration of applications across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Monitor WAF and load-balancing environments, identify security or performance issues, and implement appropriate remediation.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure and reliable application delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in WAF administration, application security, and load balancing.
- Hands-on experience with one or more WAF platforms such as F5 ASM, FortiWAF, or Imperva.
- Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, APIs, cookies, and session management.
- Experience managing load balancers, virtual servers, pools, health checks, and traffic-routing configurations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze application and security-related issues.
- Experience with cloud and hybrid environments and secure application migration.
- Relevant industry certifications in network security, cybersecurity, or cloud technologies would be an advantage.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
