As the Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our network servers and software applications. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Manage server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and backup.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems related to the network or systems.
- Provide technical support for employees using hardware or software applications.
- Monitor system security to ensure data protection and prevent unauthorized access.
- Implement upgrades or new technology solutions as needed to improve efficiency or functionality.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to identify issues and develop solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role in a professional environment.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with server administration on Windows and Linux.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies VMware, Hyper‑V.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members effectively.
- Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, etc. are a plus.
- Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
