Network and Systems Engineer
Job Description:
- Rack/stack IT Equipment
- Installation/configuration of various OS (Windows, Linux, Vmware)
- Work closely with Team Leader to meet system delivery milestones
- Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor’s support to diagnose and rectify technical problems.
- Assist in day-to-day operation of the System Delivery team
- Carry out other technical related duties that may be required.
- Design and implement LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Configure and Network security appliances such as firewalls, routers, and switches
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Must be able to configure/design and provide consultation for Cisco Switches, Router and Fortigate Firewall
- 3 – 10 years of relevant experience in server implementation / operation / administration for Vmware / Storage / Redhat / Windows.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess initiative with positive working attitudes
- Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work after office hours/weekend for systems preventive maintenance.
