About the Role:
The role involves leading the architecture, implementation, and optimisation of VXLAN EVPN-based data centre environments, developing technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. You will provide expert guidance on data centre networking standards and best practices, troubleshoot complex network issues, and drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of VXLAN EVPN solutions within the client’s network infrastructure.
• Develop architectural strategies and technical roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices, standards, and protocols related to data centre networking.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and optimise system performance.
• Support the delivery of projects from planning through to deployment, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing VXLAN EVPN and related network solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data centre architectures, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and security.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant certifications in networking or data centre technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
• Cisco CCIE certification in Enterprise Network is highly desirable.
