Network Automation Engineer
You will build the network automation platform that turns requests into self-service workflows and automated execution. You will develop multi-vendor device integrations, improve network observability and alerting, automate IP and VLAN allocation, integrate DCIM and CMDB systems, and deliver configuration deployment, validation, backup, and change-management workflows.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build network automation platform modules.
- Create self-service network workflows and ticket-driven execution.
- Develop drivers and API integrations for multi-vendor network devices.
- Build network observability and alerting systems.
- Define monitoring metrics and multi-channel alerting strategies.
- Develop IPAM APIs for automated IP and VLAN allocation and reclamation.
- Integrate DCIM and CMDB systems.
- Automate bulk configuration deployment and change workflows.
- Implement configuration validation, compliance checks, and post-change verification.
- Develop configuration backup, diff comparison, and version-control systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years in NetDevOps or network automation development.
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, telecommunications, or a similar field.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, and Spine-Leaf topology.
- Python network automation experience.
- Production experience with Ansible, Netmiko, NAPALM, or Nornir.
- Experience with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Telegraf, or equivalent monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with IPAM and CMDB systems.
- Git and CI/CD experience.
- Familiarity with RESTCONF, NETCONF, gRPC, or gNMI.
- Fluency in Chinese and English; experience working across international teams.
