Network Automation Engineer (NetDevOps/Software Engineer)

Builds network automation tools in Python and ReactJS, automates provisioning and monitoring, and maintains 24/7 on-call support for network systems.

Job Role

A hybrid software and network role focused on writing code (Python/ReactJS) to automate network setups and build monitoring dashboards. It requires basic networking knowledge, experience with both Unix/Windows environments, and availability for 24/7 on‑call and night deployment support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist network team in achieving automation initiatives in areas such as network provisioning and monitoring.
  • Create monitoring dashboard to enhance the monitoring capabilities.
  • Manage and maintain network monitoring systems and tools.
  • Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
  • Understand and integrate with system API.
  • Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, developing detailed programming logic and coding changes.
  • Test and develop programming modifications.
  • Write new program code using prescribed specifications.
  • Provide BAU support and enhancements to the existing system.
  • Provide 24x7 on‑call support.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent.
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, UNIX, SQL etc.
  • Familiar with web application technologies (ReactJS, HTML, CSS etc.).
  • Able to develop in both Unix and Windows environment.
  • Possess basic knowledge in Networking (TCP/IP, SNMP etc).
  • Self‑driven and ability to work as a team and independently.
Working Hours

Mon to Fri (9 to 6PM). However, may require to work beyond office hours if needed. Night support needed during deployment.
