Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong telecommunications domain knowledge, particularly in Radio Access Network (RAN) and network elements. The candidate should have experience gathering business requirements, analysing network-related processes, coordinating with technical teams, and translating business needs into functional requirements for telecom network systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to telecom network elements and Radio Access Network (RAN).

• Work closely with telecom engineers, network architects, product owners, and technical teams to understand network requirements and business objectives.

• Analyse existing network processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.

• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flows.

• Understand RAN architecture, including radio network components such as BTS, NodeB, eNodeB, and gNodeB across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies.

• Analyse network element integration, configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and performance management requirements.

• Support requirements related to network inventory, network management systems (NMS), and Operations Support Systems (OSS).

• Coordinate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented.

• Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement walkthroughs.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate test scenarios, and ensure business requirements are met.

• Identify dependencies, risks, and issues related to telecom network transformation or integration projects.

• Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation to communicate project progress and business outcomes.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong telecommunications domain knowledge.

• Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in telecom or mobile network projects.

• Understanding of Radio Access Network (RAN) and telecom network elements.

• Knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G network technologies.

• Understanding of OSS/BSS systems and network management processes.

• Experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and functional documentation.

• Experience with BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and UAT.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Technical / Domain Knowledge

• Radio Access Network (RAN) architecture and components.

• Network Element Management Systems (EMS) and Network Management Systems (NMS).

• Telecom network inventory and configuration management.

• Network provisioning, fault management, and performance management.

• OSS integration and telecom service assurance.

• LTE, 5G NR, and mobile network architecture.

• Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, and process modelling tools.
