Network Design Engineer - OpenStack, SDWAN, CISCO

This global world leading Telecommunications Company is seeking an experienced Network Design Engineer to join an established and friendly team. The Network Design Engineer will design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot for Network Security global solutions which are critical to their business needs. You will be offered an initial contract until February 2027 with the view to be extended.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate one or more following skills and experience;

• Strong Network Security skills that can include Palo Alto, Check Point, Clearpass, VPN Remote access technologies and Firewall analysis experience

• Strong Networking and Internet technologies in Cisco switch & routing. CCIE would be an advantage

• Cloud networking experience on either AWS, GCP or Azure (eg. Set up of VPCs, cloud proxy, cloud interconnect)

• Other skills include Cloud Proxy solutions (Netskope), Load balancing, DNS, Aruba Wireless, SDWAN skills

• Strong OpenStack networking skills - Virtualization, CEPH
