Job Summary
We are looking for a Network Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience to support, maintain and implement enterprise network infrastructure. The role involves network operations, L2/L3 troubleshooting, network security, project implementation, vendor management, and 24×7 on-call support.
Responsibilities
Network & Firewall Operations
- Install, configure and maintain network and firewall equipment.
- Manage and support Cisco, Aruba and Cisco ACI network environments.
- Monitor network performance, availability and capacity, and troubleshoot network issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS and MPLS.
- Configure and maintain firewalls including Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower and Check Point.
- Support F5 Load Balancer, Infoblox and Cisco ISE infrastructure.
- Perform network maintenance, upgrades, patching and configuration changes.
- Support LAN/WAN operations across multiple sites.
- Conduct network health checks and support incident resolution.
- Assist with network implementation, migration and infrastructure projects.
Technical Support & Documentation
- Troubleshoot network outages, connectivity and performance issues.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support and resolve network incidents.
- Maintain network configuration, topology and technical documentation.
- Perform preventive maintenance and follow change management procedures.
- Monitor network performance and support capacity planning.
- Maintain network and firewall asset inventory.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and external stakeholders.
- Support DR/BCP planning, testing and implementation.
Project& Vendor Management
- Support network infrastructure project planning, implementation and deployment.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for technical delivery and issue resolution.
- Support RFQ/RFP, technical evaluation, and procurement activities.
- Prepare technical specifications, network diagrams and project documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba and Cisco ACI.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS and MPLS.
- Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower or Check Point firewalls.
- Experience with F5 Load Balancer, Infoblox and Cisco ISE is preferred.
- Good understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, ACL, NAT, VPN and network security.
- Strong L2/L3 troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in network project implementation and infrastructure deployment.
- Experience in vendor management and RFQ/RFP.
- Knowledge of DR/BCP.
- CCNP is preferred; CCIE is an added advantage.
- Able to work independently and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to participate in 24×7 on-call support, approximately 1–2 weeks per month, including after-hours support when required.
