Summary
Design, deploy, and secure corporate networks (LAN/WAN, multi-cloud) using Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, and FortiGate; audit and optimize performance and compliance.
Network Engineer (40-55K)
- Manage and oversee large-scale network projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and document network architecture and configuration standards.
- Design and transform the corporate network.
- Develop the network governance framework and define standards for on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
- Enhance and optimize network performance and security to meet standards.
- Co-ordinate the inter-networking with local and regional network support.
- Liaise with vendors for project implementation.
- Assist in the design and implementation of network architecture, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Configure and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Conduct regular network audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in network architecture.
- Provide technical support.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the timely resolution of network-related issues
Qualifications
- Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 8 years of experience.
- Relevant experience in data center migration is required.
- Familiarity with F5, H3C, Aruba, Cisco Palo alto, FortiGate, and Checkpoint is necessary.
- Proficient in network technologies and protocols, including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, and WLAN
- A good team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, positive attitude, fast learner, energetic, and able to perform in challenging environments
