Key Responsibilities
Network Management
- Design, implement, and manage network configurations to ensure connectivity and data integrity.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network infrastructure for maximum efficiency.
- Security and Compliance
- Implement security measures to safeguard systems and data against unauthorized access, attacks, and breaches.
- Stay updated with security best practices and industry standards to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
System Monitoring and Maintenance
- Develop and implement system monitoring protocols to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, updates, and patches, to ensure system reliability and security.
- Collaboration and Documentation
- Collaborate with software developers and other IT professionals to integrate systems and resolve issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Troubleshooting and Support
- Respond to system-related issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff as required.
Performance Optimization
- Analyze system performance data, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system components for better efficiency.
- Recommend upgrades and enhancements to improve system performance and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in system engineering, network design, and implementation.
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization technologies, and network protocols.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are advantageous.
