Job Description
Your opportunity
As a Network Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, configuring and maintaining Cuscal’s network infrastructure and related application components. Working across complex network environments, you’ll help improve performance, resolve operational issues and provide recommendations that strengthen the reliability and security of our network services.
You’ll also make an impact by:
- Designing, configuring and maintaining complex LAN, WAN and wireless network environments
- Configuring and supporting Cisco firewalls, VPN concentrators and security appliances
- Supporting routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and network virtualisation technologies
- Supporting F5 load balancers and F5 Distributed Cloud services
- Troubleshooting network hardware, software, telecommunications and security systems
- Maintaining accurate network documentation that reflects the current environment
- Supporting multi-site network operations across private and public infrastructure
- Managing assigned projects and delivering services in line with established objectives
- Maintaining service levels across ticketing and change management systems
- Contributing to the 24/7 network on-call roster
