Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switches, VMware NSX, and wireless networks for a data-center client.

Network Engineer
Experience
Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in Enterprise Networking, with strong expertise in Routing & Switching.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across Routing & Switching, Wireless, and Data Center environments.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching platforms.
Implement and support wireless networking solutions, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Manage and support VMware NSX environments, including Distributed Firewall (DFW) and network security policies.
Participate in network implementation, migration, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
Perform network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available network infrastructure.
Maintain network documentation and ensure adherence to organizational standards and best practices.
Mandatory Skills
Minimum 7 years of strong hands‑on experience in Routing & Switching.
Expert‑level experience with Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Nexus platforms.
Minimum 4 years of hands‑on implementation experience in Wireless Networking.
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with VMware NSX, including:
NSX Implementation
Distributed Firewall (DFW)
Firewall Policy Management
Strong experience in network deployment and implementation projects.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good to Have
Working knowledge of Firewall technologies.
Exposure to Load Balancers (F5, Citrix ADC, A10, etc.).
Conceptual understanding of DNS.
Basic exposure to SD-WAN technologies.
Knowledge of network automation or scripting is an added advantage.
Preferred Profile
Experience working in large enterprise or data center environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently in implementation, migration, and support engagements.
