Summary

Design, secure, and automate a global corporate network (WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN) using Cisco and Fortigate gear, while scripting workflows and troubleshooting issues.

Build and evolve a large-scale international network environment

We are looking for a Network Engineer (m/f/n) who enjoys working with modern network technologies, automation and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will contribute to the reliability, performance and continuous development of a complex enterprise network environment supporting multiple business locations.

What will you do?

  • Administer and develop WAN, SD-WAN, LAN and WLAN infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance, capacity and scalability while driving continuous improvements.
  • Deliver infrastructure projects, including implementation of new solutions and deployment of network equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network-related issues across LAN/WAN environments and connected devices.
  • Automate operational tasks and continuously improve efficiency.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards and operational procedures.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to technology and business teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure network excellence across the organization.

What are we looking for?

  • Around 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer in a large international organization.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of routing, switching and wireless networking.
  • Practical experience with network security and VPN technologies.
  • Experience in scripting and process automation, ideally leveraging AI-supported solutions.
  • Solid expertise with Fortigate firewalls and Cisco switching platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Valid Category B driving license.
  • Spanish language skills will be considered a plus.
