I’m currently hiring for a 12-month contract opportunity with Meta for a Network Production Engineer (IC5).
This is a great opportunity for an experienced network engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of networking, Python, automation and large-scale infrastructure.
Location: London,UK
Working model: Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite
Contract: 12 months
Start: ASAP
Experience: 7+ years
What we're looking for:
✅ Strong Python development experience
✅ Strong networking fundamentals – BGP, MPLS, TCP/IP
✅ Experience with network automation & provisioning
✅ Strong Linux experience
✅ Experience with network devices – Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Nokia or similar
✅ Experience with Ansible / CI/CD is a plus
✅ Comfortable using AI tools to support coding and automation
What you'll be doing:
Building automation for network provisioning and deployment
Developing automated testing frameworks for network platforms
Troubleshooting complex network and software issues
Supporting the qualification and rollout of new network products
Working with engineering teams across different time zones
Helping scale and automate a global network environment
