Overview
Join a technically rigorous team responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing high-speed network infrastructures leveraging advanced Ethernet switches and programmable software network platforms. This role centers on building robust, low-latency networking environments using state-of-the-art hardware and protocols, with a focus on automation and scalability for next-generation data center and high-performance computing deployments.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain high-throughput (100Gbps+) Arista and Cisco switches, optimizing performance in demanding environments.
- Architect, deploy, and troubleshoot complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 Ethernet networks, including advanced VLANs, LACP, load balancing, and Quality of Service (QoS) configurations.
- Implement, tune, and debug advanced IP networking protocols (IPv4, IPv6), addressing, and routing, ensuring reliable connectivity and minimized latency.
- Integrate and operate whitebox network hardware utilizing ONIE, SONiC, and Switch Abstraction Interface (SAI), enabling flexible, software-driven networking solutions.
- Work with RDMA and RoCE (particularly RoCEv2) technologies, facilitating ultra-efficient data transport for data center and HPC workloads.
- Automate infrastructure tasks and perform scripting using Bash and Python to streamline configuration, monitoring, and deployment.
- Administer core Linux networking services, including PXE boot provisioning, DNS, and DHCP.
Minimum Qualifications
- In-depth experience with Arista and/or Cisco switches, including hands-on management of high-speed 100Gbps+ Ethernet environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of Ethernet networks, VLANs, LACP, load balancing, and advanced QoS mechanisms.
- Strong knowledge and operational experience with IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, routing, and protocol configuration.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting RDMA technologies, including RoCE and RoCEv2.
- Hands-on whitebox network equipment experience, including deployment/management of ONIE, SONiC, and SAI-based platforms.
- Solid Linux networking skills, including configuring and operating PXE, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Practical scripting or automation experience in Bash and Python.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with large-scale data center architectures or high-performance computing network topologies.
- Experience integrating network hardware into software-defined or disaggregated network environments.
- Expert-level knowledge in network automation frameworks or infrastructure as code (e.g., Ansible, NetBox, or similar).
- Exposure to telemetry, monitoring, or performance tuning for low-latency/high-throughput network operations.
- Prior work with open networking standards or programmable data plane technologies.
