***About the Opportunity***
Plan, design, implement, support and maintain enterprise IT network and communications infrastructure. Working with a team of IT Network Engineers responsible for the delivery and management of reliable and secure enterprise IT infrastructure for network, unified communications, firewall and security services.
***The Job will require the engineer to be online between 12AM to 8AM Sydney time.***
+ Work as a Network Support Engineer supporting customers through email and a case management system to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
+ High level trouble shooting
+ Implementation of changes and configurations
+ Escalation of complex problems
+ Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure solutions.
+ Managing and maintaining firewalls, specifically Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls.
+ Administering routing and switching protocols to ensure optimal network performance.
+ Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy and support network solutions in cloud environments.
+ Conducting network assessments, analyzing data, and recommending enhancements.
+ Participating in the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
+ Proactively monitoring network performance and addressing any issues or vulnerabilities.
+ Creating and maintaining documentation, including network diagrams and standard operating procedures.
**About the Candidate**
+ Proven experience working in an Enterprise Network Environment.
+ Extensive experience with Fortinet Enterprise Suite: Fortigate (SD-WAN), FortiSwitch, FortiAP (Wi-Fi)
+ Experience in security Fortinet suite: FortiGate Firewalls (Virtual & Physical), FortiManager, FortiAuthenticator, FortiMail, FortiNAC, etc.
+ Experience with Azure/Microsoft Security products are widely used, e.g. Sentinel, Azure Firewall, PIM, IAM, Conditional Access, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Security Center, etc.
+ Strong Routing and Switching skills
+ Extensive knowledge and experience with Cisco Network Switch infrastructure (Catalyst and Nexus)
+ Extensive knowledge and experience with Cisco Wireless and VOIP technology
+ Excellent knowledge and experience with Cisco Router
+ Managing firewalls and assisting with security monitoring activities.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues and communicate resolutions.
+ A strong focus on innovation and continual improvement.
+ Experience in an ITIL based environment.
+ Demonstrate problem solving and troubleshooting skills
+ Business communication skills in English
+ Ability to work autonomously and as a team player
