Junior Network Engineer (0-2 years) who designs, deploys, and maintains LAN, WAN, MAN, and wireless infrastructure — working with routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, fiber (GPON/FTTH), QoS, and network security across ISP operations, cloud connectivity, and customer support.

Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable network architectures, including local, wide, and metropolitan area networks, alongside wireless solutions.
- Install, configure, and maintain critical networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Manage core network services including IP addressing, VLANs, routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
- Continuously monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and generate performance reports to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Diagnose and resolve network faults, hardware failures, and connectivity incidents to minimize system downtime.
- Provision and manage internet services for customers, including CPE configuration and service activation in compliance with SLAs.
- Oversee wireless infrastructure, optimizing signal quality and managing Point-to-Point or Point-to-Multipoint links.
- Support fiber-optic and broadband networks, including GPON and FTTH maintenance, and coordinate with field teams for installations.
- Implement bandwidth management strategies, including Quality of Service (QoS) and traffic prioritization to prevent congestion.
- Configure security appliances, intrusion detection systems, and access control protocols to protect against cyber threats.
- Facilitate server and cloud connectivity, supporting hybrid environments and virtualization platforms.
- Provide technical support to customers, resolving connectivity issues and offering guidance on network usage.
- Conduct site surveys, perform equipment installations, and document all field activities and maintenance records.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, asset inventories, and compliance documentation while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assist in capacity planning for future network growth and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with software developers, security teams, and project managers to support infrastructure planning and implementation.
