Responsibilities: The candidate will plan the implementation of enhancements and upgrades to routers/switches for a large, worldwide enterprise network and will design and plan changes to network communications systems as required. The qualified candidate will serve as local subject matter expert for network administration and monitoring tools, such as Zabbix and TACACS+ server. The candidate will also track initiatives and tasks using Jira as a contributor to an Agile Scrum team and will configure and maintain DISA STIG compliance on Cisco router and switch network devices.Key responsibilities include:
• Providing specifications and developing detailed schematics for network architecture.
Providing Tier 2 level support to Operations to troubleshoot and resolve enterprise networking outages or technical issues.
Conducting cost/benefit analysis and providing specific detailed information to the customer for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet program mission needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
Developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks, Unix shell scripts, and batch scripts for configuration and auditing of network routers and switches.
Configuring and maintaining tools for enterprise-wide network monitoring of VMs, switches/routers, and datacenter hardware using scripts and SNMP/IPMI protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:
An active/current TS/SCI /w CI Poly Security Clearance.
A current/valid Security+ Certification.
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA or minimum of 6 years with MS/MA, or 12 years of applicable work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement.
Experience with developing Zabbix templates for network monitoring.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco IOS-XE and NX-OS routers and switches.
Experience working with EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF Protocols, including authentication and route distribution.
Experience with Cisco zone-based firewalls, Access Controls Lists, IPSEC tunnels, Dynamic Multipoint VPN (DMVPN) and VLAN separation.
Experience with scripting languages, such as Expect, Bash, and Python.
Experience with Ansible playbooks.
Experience applying security configurations to Cisco networking devices according to DISA STIGs
Desired Qualifications:
A current/valid CCNA and/or CCNP Certification.
Experience with Jira, Zabbix, and TACACS+.
Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
Basic Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 (This range is for Maryland only)
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
