About the role
Join our organisation as a Network Engineer, responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise network and security infrastructure. You will help ensure reliable connectivity, secure network operations, effective monitoring, and successful project delivery across LAN, WAN, WiFi, and related environments. This is an on-site role that may require travel upcountry when needed.
Key responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and WiFi.
Configure and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching environments.
Install and configure firewalls, VPN gateways, and network segmentation solutions.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues, including routing loops, MTU problems, ACL conflicts, and network flapping.
Support network monitoring tools and perform root cause analysis.
Support security implementation, including encryption, SSL certificates, and basic cybersecurity controls.
Coordinate project implementation, prepare HLD and LLD documentation, and complete operational handovers.
Provide on-site technical support and travel upcountry when required.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunication, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in network engineering.
Hands-on experience with enterprise network and security solutions such as Cisco, Fortinet, Imperva, Check Point, Palo Alto, or equivalent technologies.
Ability to install and configure firewalls, VPNs, routers, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, and network monitoring servers.
Basic knowledge of virtualisation and cloud services.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
