Senior infrastructure role (on-site, local to Columbia, SC) supporting a state government environment: day-to-day VMware ESX and SAN administration, capacity planning, and Windows Server/networking work in an enterprise setting. Requires 13+ years in IT, 3+ years with state government, and a VCP cert or equivalent VMware experience.

3+ Years of State Government Experience
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Certification OR 5+ additional Years of Experience in VMware.
8+ Years of Experience with Enterprise environments with known issues on both the SAN and VMware front.
8+ Years of Experience with VMware ESX administration.
Experience with Capacity Planning based on technical analysis research.
Bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field
Preferred Skills
Experience with NIST, PCI, or a Pub 1075 environment
Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Advanced knowledge in Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019
