Network Engineer, M365 - PERM

Salary: Adelaide CBD, 90-120K Base + Super - AUST CITIZEN

We have a (Permanent) ICT Lead / Network Engineer role available in Adelaide CBD.

You will support Defence-related technology projects. This role will focus on network deployments, infrastructure configuration and troubleshooting, while providing Level 2 and Level 3 technical support to end users.

You will work across network infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and end-user technologies, helping ensure secure, reliable and effective IT services within a Defence environment.

Australian Citizenship is Mandatory due to the nature of the projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and support network infrastructure across Defence project environments.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for network, infrastructure and end-user technology issues.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot network equipment, firewalls and connectivity.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Intune.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, connectivity, access and network performance issues.
• Support endpoint configuration, device management and user onboarding.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement effective resolutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, network configurations and support procedures.
• Work collaboratively with project teams, service desk personnel and other technical stakeholders.
• Follow established security, change management and operational procedures within Defence environments.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Network Engineering Experience
• Experience in Network and Infrastructure Support
• Experience in Microsoft 365, Microsoft InTune and Microsoft Teams.
• MSP Experience (Preferred)
• Strong Level 2 and Level 3 technical support experience.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and network technologies.
• Experience with Aruba and Fortinet (Desirable)
• Experience Leading or Mentoring Engineers
• Experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, endpoints and end-user environments.
• Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Management skills
• Experience supporting users in enterprise or complex IT environments.
• Good documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively across project and support teams.
• Must be an Australian citizen.
