Summary

Designs, maintains, and secures enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN) to ensure high availability, performance, and security while troubleshooting issues and supporting business operations.

The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure. The role ensures reliable, secure, and high-performing network connectivity while troubleshooting issues and supporting business operations.

  • Design, configure, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network devices.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and security to ensure reliable operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues, outages, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Manage TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, VPNs, and network security configurations.
  • Implement network security controls, firewall policies, access controls, and security best practices.
  • Perform network upgrades, migrations, configuration changes, backups, and preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and service providers for network-related projects and technical support.
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, technical documentation, and incident records.
  • Support disaster recovery, network redundancy, and business continuity requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in network engineering, administration, and support.
  • Strong experience with LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPN, firewalls, and wireless networking.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco or similar enterprise networking technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols, and network security.
  • Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and incident resolution.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
