Network Engineer (Palo Alto) Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Network Engineer with expertise in Palo Alto Networks technology to join our team in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Palo Alto Networks solutions to secure our network infrastructure
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and other network security devices
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades and expansions
• Document network configurations and procedures
• Palo Alto 5200 Deployment experience
• Palo Alto 5250 Firewall experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience working with Palo Alto Networks technology
• Palo Alto Networks certification (PCNSE) preferred
• Cisco Experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
