Network Engineer
• Participate in group projects with global as well as regional team members
• Join team in providing operational support, especially as escalation point in area of expertise
• Participation in solution development and implementation
• Perform network configuration changes in accordance with change management process
• Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery, creating preventative measures to deploy in the enterprise
• Create and maintain network documentation as it relates to network configuration, network diagrams and processes.
• Administer all pertinent company standards and procedures (i/e security and change control) as relevant to role
• 10+ years experience in a global financial environment
• Solid understanding of Cisco routing and Switching
• Good knowledge of any of the following : Bluecoat proxy, Checkpoint firewalls, Riverbed, F5 and QOS
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
