Network Engineer

Designs, configures, and maintains Cisco-based enterprise networks for a large integrated resort, focusing on performance, security, and scalability.
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join our dynamic project team, supporting the seamless integration of network infrastructure within a world-class integrated resort. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Cisco networking solutions and possess a deep understanding of network architecture, scalability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with project teams to gather network requirements and ensure effective integration of network infrastructure.
- Provide full lifecycle support and administration for Cisco routers, switches, and other network devices across the project.
- Implement, configure, and optimize enterprise-grade network solutions prioritizing high performance, reliability, and robust security.
- Conduct detailed network assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend strategic upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards during network design and deployment phases.
- Monitor network performance continuously, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or disruptions proactively.
- Manage and support Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) appliances, enabling Network Access Control (NAC) functionalities on LAN switches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of project deliverables.
- Undertake additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned by the company.
Scope of Work:
- Ensure end-to-end integration of network infrastructure in line with overall project timelines and technical objectives.
- Maintain adherence to regulatory, compliance, and organizational standards throughout project execution.
- Provide hands-on support for VLAN configuration, Layer 2/3 routing, port security, and other enterprise-grade network features.
- Facilitate smooth coordination with design, construction, and IT teams to align on infrastructure and connectivity planning.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in network engineering, preferably within large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies and protocols (OSPF, BGP, IP Multicast, Policy Routing).
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching/routing.
- Experience designing and deploying LAN/WAN networks, including data center and cloud connectivity.
- Proficiency with Layer 2 technologies: VLANs, VTP, STP/RSTP, Inter-VLAN Routing, VLAN Trunking, EtherChannels, access-maps, and port security.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco ISE and implementing NAC in enterprise environments.
- Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
