Responsibilities:
- Oversee Tier-1 network monitoring and operations in a shift-based rotation, ensuring continuous service availability.
- Respond promptly to network alarms and faults, escalating issues to tier-2 engineers as necessary.
- Execute network break fixes including switch replacement and link repair in collaboration with IDC technicians.
- Conduct routine network maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Document and share daily monitoring summaries and operational insights with the team.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Degree or diploma in relevant field.
- 1-3 years of experience in data center network monitoring and operations.
- Understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
- Strong attention to detail, responsible work ethic, and effective communication skills.
- Experience in network troubleshooting and familiarity with Linux preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA/JNCIA are advantageous.
