Network Engineer

Summary

Maintains and monitors a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure, cloud networks, switches, routers, and firewalls while providing L2 support and collaborating with ISP engineers.

A Network engineer is an individual that is responsible for the maintenance of computer hardware and software systems that make up a computer network including the maintenance and monitoring of active data network or converged infrastructure and related network equipment. Network Engineers focus upon network components within a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure ensuring integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Network and its availability (CSO, DC, BO, Europe & All Data Centers)
  • Manage cloud server network and its availability.
  • Manage Switch/Router (CSO, DC, BO, Europe & All Data Centers)
  • Manage Firewalls (CSO & DC)
  • Liaise with ISP engineers (CSO, DC, BO & Europe)
  • Manage Network related projects
  • Provide L2 Support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area
  • Min. 5 years' of experience in enterprise network infrastructuret
  • Strong LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and firewall operation.
  • Have CCNA certification
  • Troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis.
  • Vendor management and cross-team collaboration.
  • Willing to WFO from our office in South Jakarta.
